Plant fertilization is applied at the beginning of the crop using organic fertilizers buried superficially, along with mineral fertilizer, avoiding the use of nitrogen to prevent plant depletion. As the vine grows, maintenance fertilization is applied, prioritizing fruit quality over quantity. Foliar analysis and diagnosis allow for the detection of nutritional imbalances and precise adjustments to fertilization.
Foliar fertilization is applied in the form of soluble salts with microelements, essential due to their scarcity and the risk of imbalances. Fertigation, on the other hand, provides nutrients through irrigation water, considering the needs of the vine, water, and soil. This technique allows for rapid and localized absorption of nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium), optimizes the irrigation system, and reduces costs. It is especially useful for efficiently correcting deficiencies.
