Fruit trees

Fruit crops, mostly long-cycle and belonging to various taxonomic families, are generally grown on large plots and intended for fresh consumption due to their high vitamin, mineral, and fiber content. Examples of these crops include oranges, mangoes, avocados, pineapples, strawberries, mandarins, cherries, apples, melons, and acorns. Fruit quality varies depending on the growing area.

To apply fertilizers efficiently, it is essential to understand both the soil's richness and the crop's needs, which is determined through foliar analysis.

Fruit trees require fertilization after winter dormancy, following this order: first nitrogen in spring to stimulate vegetative development; then phosphorus during flowering and fruit set, as it provides energy and facilitates photosynthesis; and finally potassium during the fruit hardening stage, which is essential for fruit development, resistance to disease and frost, and activation of enzymatic reactions.
