The seedbeds are the place where the seeds of the plants are sown so that, once they are born, they are transplanted to a hatchery or other site.
For a significant number of crops, seedbeds are the starting point that marks, in part, the future of the harvest. If the plants germinate normally and develop vigorously, they will arrive at the transplant in good health, able to withstand the adversities that can occur in the seat crop.
On the contrary, if germination and growth are irregular, the plants take on a sickly appearance coinciding with their organic weakness, which makes them susceptible to diseases and easily vulnerable to pests.
